Novels in Nature

Waipā is celebrating its more than 200 parks and open spaces next week with a range of fun, free activities as part of Parks Week, a national campaign to recognise the crucial role these spaces play in creating thriving communities. One of these activities is Novels in Nature.

Parks provide a quiet place to get lost in your favourite book. Come along for a casual reading event in the park. Bring your novel, or pick from one of our books, find a shady spot and read! Bring a chair or picnic blanket as desired.
